If Nick Clinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Boyce Franco came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Wolf Trap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyce Franco couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Nick Clinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett Field saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garrett Field showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Clinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Benjamin Costello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neal Cannon in the 20th minute. Garrett Field took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyce Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nick Clinton came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Wolf Trap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Clinton couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Blake Call ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garrett Field was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Boyce Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neal Cannon's late challenge caught a Wolf Trap's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neal Cannon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Nick Clinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett Field saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick Clinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Doud to maneuver through the defense. When Boyce Franco came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Wolf Trap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyce Franco couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neal Cannon to make the kick off. Garrett Field showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blake Call, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Nick Clinton might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garrett Field. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Clinton ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Franco in the 64th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Garrett Field to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wolf Trap booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Doud didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nick Clinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Garrett Field played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Monroe in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Wolf Trap's Nick Clinton made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garrett Field was left in no man's land by his defense there! Garrett Field showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Franco in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Franco in the 79th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Garrett Field to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Jefferson Morrison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolf Trap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After 81 played minutes Wolf Trap got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Morrison. In the 84th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. Nick Clinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
