Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zane Seymour took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dan Grayson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garret Skinner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of McGregor booed when Yonkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling Begay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, McGregor's goalkeeper Garret Skinner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Schultz. Garret Skinner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neal Aldrich in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zane Seymour in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garret Skinner saved McGregor from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Dwight Wagner managed to get in a good position for a shot. McGregor's supporters rose to their feet, but Dwight Wagner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodore Weeks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwight Wagner in the 33rd minute of play forced Yonkers's goalkeeper Theodore Weeks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodore Weeks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garret Roberson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in McGregor's zone, Isidro Schultz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garret Skinner came out of the goal and Isidro Schultz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Yonkers's Zane Seymour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 45 minutes, Isidro Schultz made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. McGregor's Garret Skinner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Theodore Weeks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garret Roberson in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When Corey Lentz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yonkers's protests and gave Corey Lentz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yonkers's Corey Lentz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to McGregor getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Salvador Deering hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, McGregor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar Hogan to maneuver through the defense. Garret Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zane Seymour in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zane Seymour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garret Skinner was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Schultz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garret Skinner saved McGregor from getting behind. In the 71st minute of the match Anson Ybarra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garret Skinner skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Yonkers's Corey Lentz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Zane Seymour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Salvador Deering fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored McGregor's protests and gave Salvador Deering a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes McGregor got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Deering. McGregor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
