World stars's Darin Dozier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramiro Mejia in the 10 minute of the game. Fred Welch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennett Holmes having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, World stars's goalkeeper Jefferson Wallace had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randolph Doherty. If Randolph Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of World stars booed when Boulder Creek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Winston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Randolph Doherty struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jefferson Wallace didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boulder Creek FC. Boulder Creek FC's Bennett Holmes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Pacheco in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reggie McRae to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Randolph Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Wallace saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Winston hit a great ball. World stars's Darin Dozier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boulder Creek FC. The World stars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
