Baileys Crossroads AFC's Alejandro Kerr got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belvidere AFC's Leland Gibbons got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leland Gibbons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintin Matlock having to interfere. Damian Case took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Engel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronald Sutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Leland Gibbons made a precise shot to the right of Quintin Matlock. Baileys Crossroads AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Baileys Crossroads AFC's Alejandro Kerr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Case narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Baileys Crossroads AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 47th minute, Rodrick Latham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Engel was the one to do the kick off. Leland Gibbons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 played minutes Baileys Crossroads AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lanny Drew. Damian Case made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Kerr in the 63rd minute of play. When Leland Gibbons came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Belvidere AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leland Gibbons couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Kerr in the 71st minute of play forced Belvidere AFC's goalkeeper Damian Case to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Engel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leland Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 75th minute, but Quintin Matlock got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Baileys Crossroads AFC hanging dry this time. If Alejandro Kerr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Baileys Crossroads AFC's goalkeeper Quintin Matlock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leland Gibbons. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baileys Crossroads AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evan Tucker was slow to take the kick. During this time Belvidere AFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Belvidere AFC's corner Evan Tucker fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Quintin Matlock quite easily take care of the ball. Joseph Herbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Quintin Matlock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Sergio Engel came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Baileys Crossroads AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Engel couldn't finish the play. Baileys Crossroads AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Belvidere AFC for a fine match.
