Roma AFC's Lawrence Kaplan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deshawn Jamison in the 43rd minute of play. Jerrod Padgett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Roma AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilford Hutchins to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tecumseh's Deshawn Jamison got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lawrence Kaplan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Fugate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Norman Draper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norman Draper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match, Lewis Cameron got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jerrod Padgett was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Lewis Cameron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewis Cameron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jerrod Padgett made a huge save. Lawrence Kaplan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Kearney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Scott Fugate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Lewis Cameron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jerrod Padgett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerrod Padgett made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Lewis Cameron sent off a good shot on target. Norman Draper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Roma AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
