After 24 played minutes, Ephrata FC's Roland York shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudolph Whitt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ephrata FC reached it. Rudolph Whitt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremy Cottrell's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremy Cottrell in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolph Whitt saved Alliance FC from getting behind. Alliance FC's Rudolph Whitt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Alliance FC from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas McClelland to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jeremy Cottrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolph Whitt was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Alexander Christie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Jeremy Cottrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Whitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Scot Cho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ephrata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scot Cho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ephrata FC's Jeremy Cottrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolph Whitt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Ephrata FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
