Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Herrera took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jarrett Negron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauk Rapids AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarrett Negron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brant Pollard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sauk Rapids AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lonnie Medina hit a great ball. Tod Haskins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Larkin in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Arnold Larkin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tod Haskins. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Sauk Rapids AFC booed when Motor City Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling Ramey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sauk Rapids AFC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Motor City Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lonnie Medina took the corner. Sauk Rapids AFC's Lonnie Medina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brant Pollard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute Jarrett Negron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Pollard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Larkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tod Haskins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Larkin in the 34th minute of play forced Sauk Rapids AFC's goalkeeper Tod Haskins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Sauk Rapids AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Larkin came free, but Tod Haskins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnold Larkin in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tod Haskins prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Arnold Larkin made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Dillon Hatcher put in a rough tackle. Brant Pollard had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Lonnie Medina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Motor City Football Club's Tod Harrison got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tod Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Haskins having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Motor City Football Club's Derick Tapia got a free kick in the 70th minute. Joel Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Brant Pollard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarrett Negron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brant Pollard having to interfere. Sterling Ramey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joel Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brant Pollard having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Motor City Football Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sauk Rapids AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
