Vincent Butler was a little too slow when Erik Barrera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Winston Dunn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sinton's Vincent Butler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Pottsgrove's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gibbons came free, but Rufus Spicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Sinton's goal looked a bit too open when Winston Dunn came free, but Vincent Butler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sinton's zone, Erik Barrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Butler came out of the goal and Erik Barrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Winston Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Barrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Butler having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winston Dunn in the 28th minute of play forced Sinton's goalkeeper Vincent Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Lanny Gibbons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Spicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erik Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Barrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vincent Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stewart Ryder charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stewart Ryder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Winston Dunn made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Winston Dunn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Erik Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pottsgrove's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Barrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Butler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Barrera in the 58th minute of play forced Sinton's goalkeeper Vincent Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Willoughby scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rufus Spicer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute Winston Dunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Butler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Cuevas during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sinton's Tomas Cuevas got a free kick in the 66th minute. The supporters of Sinton booed when Pottsgrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Aldo Willoughby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Winston Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Sinton got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Cuevas. If Lanny Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Pottsgrove's Winston Dunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Butler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Sinton getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Terrence Mabry hit a great ball. Warner Flint didn't quite understand what happened when in the 85 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Winston Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winston Dunn in the 91st minute of play forced Sinton's goalkeeper Vincent Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Butler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winston Dunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pottsgrove supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sinton's performance. The match ended with a win for Sinton.
