A wasted opportunity for Sanatoga FC. Denny Salas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Akers's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Shipman in the 11th minute of play forced Hawaii Suns's goalkeeper Denny Salas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Akers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donald Shipman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawaii Suns's goalkeeper Denny Salas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Hawaii Suns got a freekick which was hit by Mike Mobley. In the 20th minute, Dan Akers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denny Salas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hawaii Suns's Denny Salas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Akers in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Hawaii Suns defense, Dan Akers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denny Salas. The Hawaii Suns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denny Salas should have stopped the shot. Denny Salas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Shipman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Akers might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denny Salas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Akers ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Hawaii Suns's Dustin McIntyre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson Kaufman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denny Salas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Akers in the 46th minute of play. Mike Mobley struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jefferson Kaufman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawaii Suns. After the first half Sanatoga FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mike Mobley charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Mobley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hawaii Suns's Mike Mobley got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Hawaii Suns's goalkeeper Denny Salas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Shipman. Donald Shipman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Denny Salas made a huge save. In the 68th minute Dustin McIntyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Kaufman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sanatoga FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Charles Rhodes hit a great ball. Dustin McIntyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jefferson Kaufman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dustin McIntyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Donald Shipman made a precise shot to the right of Denny Salas. Hawaii Suns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Denny Salas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Akers in the 96th minute of play.
