In the 21st match minute, Sleepy Hollow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Herndon to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Jerome Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danial Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Allan Russo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danial Collier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Allan Russo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danial Collier was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Gustavo Chin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Allan Russo managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Providence FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Russo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danial Collier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Chin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danial Collier was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After 43 played minutes New Providence FC got a freekick which was hit by Lazaro Tharp. Sleepy Hollow's Danial Collier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Camacho in the 47th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wade Skinner to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Wade Skinner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Sleepy Hollow's Bobby Judd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casey Murray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Allan Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerome Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Collier having to interfere. Allan Russo in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danial Collier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gustavo Chin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Hollow's Bobby Judd got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the game, Bobby Judd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Casey Murray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 minutes, Allan Russo made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sleepy Hollow's Danial Collier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Rory Rutledge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sleepy Hollow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Providence FC the free kick. Rory Rutledge hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Danial Collier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Providence FC. With his leg Danial Collier managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when New Providence FC's Allan Russo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Sleepy Hollow booed when New Providence FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bret Shepherd didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Providence FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
