Winston Matthews succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. The supporters of Mechanicville booed when Ladonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Pritchett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Jermaine Sexton in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mechanicville's Fletcher Woodruff. Winston Matthews took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casey Barr. Casey Barr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mitch Samuels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jermaine Sexton in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mechanicville's Jeremy Kirby got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 played minutes, Ladonia's Cliff Hatcher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mitch Samuels came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ladonia reached it. Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Willett in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ladonia's zone, Winston Matthews stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casey Barr came out of the goal and Winston Matthews tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Mechanicville's Winston Matthews dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 39th minute, Winston Matthews left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechanicville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeff Willett to strike the kick off in the second half. Winston Matthews scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casey Barr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Casey Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheldon Benjamin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Winston Matthews notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Ladonia's Casey Barr. Casey Barr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the match, Ladonia's goal looked a bit too open when Winston Matthews came free, but Casey Barr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Winston Matthews ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casey Barr was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Ladonia's Casey Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheldon Benjamin in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Winston Matthews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey Barr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casey Barr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheldon Benjamin in the 73rd minute of play. Casey Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheldon Benjamin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ladonia's Casey Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winston Matthews in the 76th minute of play. When Jeff Willett came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ladonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeff Willett couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mechanicville's Travis Gauthier got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mitch Samuels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Willett in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ladonia's Richard Bartlett got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of Ladonia booed when Mechanicville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Ladner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mechanicville's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
