After a rather tough play, Ladonia's Richard Bartlett got a free kick in the 12th minute. Danial Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Willett in the 15th minute of the match. Casey Barr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wade Skinner in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Ladonia's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Judd came free, but Casey Barr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joe Betts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danial Collier having to make a save. If Joe Betts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sleepy Hollow's Danial Collier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sleepy Hollow from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Brice Braden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casey Barr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Jeff Willett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Willett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jeff Willett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeff Willett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danial Collier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff Willett to make the kick off. Danial Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Willett, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Joe Betts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobby Judd's late challenge caught a Ladonia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Judd helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Sleepy Hollow got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Judd. In the 65th minute, Wade Skinner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casey Barr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 68th minute Bobby Judd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey Barr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sleepy Hollow were furious when Fletcher Bentley was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jermaine Sexton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Collier having to interfere. Joe Betts scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danial Collier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Danial Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Willett, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Joe Betts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Collier having to interfere. Sleepy Hollow were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ladonia's much stronger midfield.
