Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 5) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Seth Key got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Rodger Snow managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Groveland's Geoffrey Mason fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seth Key in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodger Snow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nigel Valencia came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Willow Oak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nigel Valencia couldn't finish the play. Joseph Maurer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tory Rudd, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Grady Grove's late challenge caught a Groveland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grady Grove helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Grady Grove hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Willow Oak:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Groveland:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rodger Snow, was totally fooled by Groveland's Tory Rudd, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Seth Key came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Groveland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seth Key couldn't finish the play. Anton Trotter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Valencia in the 23rd minute of the match. Seth Key struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rodger Snow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Groveland. In the 29th minute, Seth Key got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Nigel Valencia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anton Trotter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute of the match Paul Floyd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Trotter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Paul Floyd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Willow Oak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Groveland the free kick. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Willow Oak! The referee gave Groveland a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tory Rudd, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Willow Oak's Rodger Snow. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodger Snow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Groveland got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Wolf. Emmanuel Bagley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Anton Trotter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Valencia in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Trotter saved Groveland from getting behind. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Groveland's goalkeeper Anton Trotter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anton Trotter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Valencia in the 69th minute of play. Geoffrey Mason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodger Snow having to interfere. Willow Oak's Emmanuel Bagley was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Geoffrey Mason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Groveland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Mason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Groveland's Seth Key sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodger Snow narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Trotter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nigel Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Willow Oak's Emmanuel Bagley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Trotter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geoffrey Mason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
