The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tad Lindsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent Walter didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cockeysville's Johnathan Spivey shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. With an all-out effort, Kailua FC's Art Ragland threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corey Chin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th minute Tad Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Urmanski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brent Walter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tad Lindsey in the 22nd minute of the match. Corey Chin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Art Ragland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Art Ragland made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Arnoldo Hargrove sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Kailua FC booed when Cockeysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Bowling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cockeysville's zone, Corey Chin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Art Ragland came out of the goal and Corey Chin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Zack Padgett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Hargrove kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Art Ragland. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. When German Stiles fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cockeysville's protests and gave German Stiles a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cockeysville's German Stiles got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corey Chin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cockeysville's Art Ragland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Hargrove in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zack Padgett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cockeysville's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Padgett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brent Walter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Kailua FC's goalkeeper Brent Walter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Padgett. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Zack Padgett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cockeysville's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Padgett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brent Walter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Kailua FC got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Hartley. Zack Padgett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Brent Walter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Zack Padgett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cockeysville and the Kailua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cockeysville's Zack Padgett got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Art Ragland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corey Chin in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cockeysville defense, Arnoldo Hargrove kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Art Ragland. The Cockeysville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Art Ragland should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Cockeysville's Tad Lindsey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Zack Padgett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Brent Walter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Cockeysville's Zack Padgett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brent Walter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Tad Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Brent Walter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnathan Spivey got free with Brent Walter in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brent Walter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tad Lindsey in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Cockeysville could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kailua FC throughout the match.
