The tension between the Golden Knights and the Hunters Creek Village AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bob Martinez made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jeff Lund sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 15 minutes, Jeff Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Lund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Golden Knights getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Maxwell Kitchen hit a great ball. Davis Messer hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ramon Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfred Barker in the 26th minute of play. Bob Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolland Roark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Lanny Munoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hunters Creek Village AFC's zone, Rolland Roark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Martinez came out of the goal and Rolland Roark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Larry Hobson charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larry Hobson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Larry Hobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lanny Munoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ramon Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Barker in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lanny Munoz made the kick off in the second half. Lanny Munoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Robinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lanny Munoz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jeff Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bob Martinez came out of the goal and Davis Messer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Jeff Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
