Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Von Gilbert made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 7 minutes, Salvador Patten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakersfield SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Patten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Oliver Jefferson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Bakersfield SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolph McFadden to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dania's Oliver Jefferson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ervin Mayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Von Gilbert in the 25th minute of the match. Eldon Kelley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ray Jamison in the 28th minute. Von Gilbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Salvador Patten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Bakersfield SC's Darrel Whalen tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A hard shot 43 in the game by Ray Jamison from a close distance when the talented Eldon Kelley managed to make a qualified save. Bakersfield SC's players were relieved. Ray Jamison came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eldon Kelley could save by the left post. When Dania's Casey Carroll in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bakersfield SC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casey Carroll made a kick off. Salvador Patten charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Patten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dania booed when Bakersfield SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Patten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eldon Kelley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Carroll in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ray Jamison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dania's supporters rose to their feet, but Ray Jamison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eldon Kelley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casey Carroll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmund Bowen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Dania got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Bowen. After a rather tough play, Dania's Edmund Bowen got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Dania's goal looked a bit too open when Von Gilbert came free, but Ervin Mayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eldon Kelley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ray Jamison went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Casey Carroll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eldon Kelley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Carroll in the 84th minute of play. Casey Carroll struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eldon Kelley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dania. Eldon Kelley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Carroll's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Dania's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
