Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alex Crandall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Countess in the 4th minute of play. Kansas Jayhawks FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Virginia settlers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cyrus Rhodes took the corner. The corner ended in Cyrus Rhodes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Virginia settlers's Alex Crandall did a great save. After 10 played minutes Virginia settlers got a freekick which was hit by Norman Bradshaw. The supporters of Kansas Jayhawks FC booed when Virginia settlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Kent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virginia settlers's Jerry Dailey got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graham Dunlap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alex Crandall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Graham Dunlap took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Crandall. Alex Crandall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alex Crandall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Graham Dunlap went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. It was beautiful to see Virginia settlers's Quintin Nichols in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some careless play in the Virginia settlers defense, Fabian McHugh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Crandall. The Virginia settlers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Crandall should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Kansas Jayhawks FC's Vito Barrera got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian McHugh was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Norman Bradshaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyrus Rhodes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A hard shot 66 in the game by Graham Dunlap from a close distance when the talented Alex Crandall managed to make a qualified save. Virginia settlers's players were relieved. Marcus Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Kent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordan Kent's late challenge caught a Kansas Jayhawks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordan Kent helped the player get up and apologised. Jordan Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Quintin Nichols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Virginia settlers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kansas Jayhawks FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kansas Jayhawks FC.
