Jordan Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tory Miranda struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 47th minute, when Virginia settlers's Quintin Nichols after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Frank Salgado in Monster Kings's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The Virginia settlers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monster Kings were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jerry Dailey made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Virginia settlers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Bryson to maneuver through the defense. Virginia settlers's Quintin Nichols got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Monster Kings's Tracy Tackett got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Phil Booth hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Virginia settlers! The Monster Kings players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
