Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thurman Griffith in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Proctor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lake Goodwin's Thurman Griffith in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loki s Guards's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute, Oren Barbour left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Goodwin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Roger Foley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Snyder in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Thurman Griffith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Goodwin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thurman Griffith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Denis Ratliff fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loki s Guards's protests and gave Denis Ratliff a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Loki s Guards's Denis Ratliff got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Luis Snyder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Foley. Luis Snyder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Roger Foley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyron Johnson in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Tyron Johnson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roger Foley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ulysses Proctor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thurman Griffith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Thurman Griffith came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lake Goodwin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thurman Griffith couldn't finish the play. Elton Stjohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ulysses Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Denis Ratliff was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. The supporters of Lake Goodwin booed when Loki s Guards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Ratliff didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thurman Griffith in the 41st minute of play forced Loki s Guards's goalkeeper Ulysses Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Foley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyron Johnson in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Troy Samuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loki s Guards fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Oren Barbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ulysses Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Troy Samuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Foley was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 61st minute Troy Samuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Foley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Troy Samuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loki s Guards's supporters rose to their feet, but Troy Samuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Foley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Thurman Griffith came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lake Goodwin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thurman Griffith couldn't finish the play. Lake Goodwin's Oren Barbour got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thurman Griffith's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Ulysses Proctor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 78 minutes of play, Loki s Guards's Troy Samuel made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Foley was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Loki s Guards booed when Lake Goodwin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Morton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thurman Griffiths short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ulysses Proctor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 84 minutes, Tyron Johnson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loki s Guards and the Lake Goodwin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lake Goodwin booed when Loki s Guards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyron Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulysses Proctor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thurman Griffith in the 89th minute. Ulysses Proctor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thurman Griffith in the 92nd minute of the match. If Thurman Griffith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Loki s Guards were victorious despite being under pressure from Lake Goodwin for much of the match.
