Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anton Guy got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Three Rivers's Olin Underwood ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristopher Dodd. Cristopher Dodd yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jerry Summers kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Marcellus Gann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristopher Dodd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcellus Gann, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Ellinwood FC's Anton Guy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandy Chavez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Albert Sanford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot Guillory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Thornton charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Thornton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Three Rivers's Marc Thornton got a free kick in the 24th minute. Anton Guy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Guy might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandy Chavez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Guy ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristopher Dodd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcellus Gann in the 33rd minute of the match. Elliot Guillory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Cristopher Dodd made a huge save. During the 40th minute of the match Marc Thornton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marc Thornton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 40th minute, Marc Thornton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandy Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Guy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Elliot Guillory made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Ellinwood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Good to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olin Underwood in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristopher Dodd saved Ellinwood FC from getting behind. Sandy Chavez was a little too slow when Anton Guy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Elliot Guillory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristopher Dodd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elliot Guillory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th match minute, Three Rivers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Guillory to maneuver through the defense. When Elliot Guillory got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Cristopher Dodd was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristopher Dodd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Guillory, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 86 minutes, Jerry Summers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ellinwood FC and the Three Rivers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ellinwood FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jerry Summers hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Elliot Guillory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristopher Dodd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Elliot Guillory managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Rivers's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliot Guillory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristopher Dodd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Three Rivers lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
