Thad Britton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyrone Zapata in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Harding in the 8th minute of play forced Defiance FC's goalkeeper Thad Britton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thad Britton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trent Harding, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tyrone Zapata succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. If Kareem Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Kareem Matthews ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Villalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Tyrone Zapata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Thad Britton made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Tyrone Zapata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thad Britton, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

In the 52nd minute Tyrone Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thad Britton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melvin French charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melvin French the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Defiance FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trent Harding was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Trent Harding succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chance Anderson in the 71st minute of play forced Defiance FC's goalkeeper Thad Britton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defiance FC's Thad Britton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Zapata in the 80th minute of play. Trent Harding scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thad Britton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Defiance FC's Stefan Foreman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stefan Foreman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Defiance FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stefan Foreman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 88th minute, one of Defiance FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Defiance FC. The referee gave Summerset Aisle a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clinton McNeal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Defiance FC's Thad Britton. 8-1. Defiance FC's Thad Britton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintin Spaulding in the 94th minute of play. If Tyrone Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
