Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5881, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paranaense Soccer Club's Alberto Ring started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Woodlands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Ring came free, but Gerald Aldrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Carson Thompson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Molina. The goal made the score 1-0. When Sterling Clayton fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranaense Soccer Club's protests and gave Sterling Clayton a yellow card for diving instead. When Giuseppe Moses came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Woodlands FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe Moses couldn't finish the play. Dean Rhodes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Molina having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Paranaense Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Blanchard came free, but Peter Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alberto Ring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranaense Soccer Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Ring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Aldrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Woodlands FC's Carson Thompson got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jeff Baird took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Molina. Peter Molina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Paranaense Soccer Club's goalkeeper Peter Molina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeff Baird. Woodlands FC's Carson Thompson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Ivan Pennington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Woodlands FC's Peter Molina threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carson Thompson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Jeff Baird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Carson Thompson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Peter Molina to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Paranaense Soccer Club booed when Woodlands FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Green didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carson Thompson made a kick off. Peter Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Baird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Ignacio Stephens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Blanchard in the 64th minute of play forced Paranaense Soccer Club's goalkeeper Peter Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Paranaense Soccer Club's Alberto Ring ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerald Aldrich. Gerald Aldrich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Peter Molina came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Woodlands FC's Jeff Baird. But to his dismay, Jeff Baird quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 79 minutes into the match, Paranaense Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Carson Thompson came free, but Peter Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Woodlands FC's Gerald Aldrich got control of the ball when Dominic Arrington tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carson Thompson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. It was a well-played corner which Jeff Baird managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Carson Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Peter Molina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeff Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Jeff Baird shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson Thompson in the 96th minute of play forced Paranaense Soccer Club's goalkeeper Peter Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Woodlands FC had played much better football throughout.
