Jerome Schafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randolph Stewart in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vamala F.C's Gerry Pace got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jerome Schafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randolph Stewart in the 17th minute of play. If Danny Barton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vamala F.C's Pascal Gauthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cobi Barajas in the 25th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Lake Mohawk's Cobi Barajas in the 31st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pascal Gauthier was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vamala F.C through an amazing save. If Chris Pack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Randolph Stewart struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jerome Schafer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vamala F.C. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Cobi Barajas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pascal Gauthier to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 49 in the game by Danny Barton from a close distance when the talented Pascal Gauthier managed to make a qualified save. Vamala F.C's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chris Pack made the kick off in the second half. Danny Barton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Gauthier having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Vamala F.C's Chris Pack ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jerome Schafer. Jerome Schafer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Danny Barton struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Pascal Gauthier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Mohawk. In the 86th minute, Chris Pack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Danny Barton came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lake Mohawk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Barton couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Chris Pack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vamala F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Pack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lake Mohawk succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vamala F.C had controlled the match.
