French stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Shields came out of the goal and C.J. French tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raul Meyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Shields made an important save on a dangerous shot by C.J. French in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rolando Sylvester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sora AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Sylvester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Shields breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th match minute, Steger AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Jorgensen to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Randy Chacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sora AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Pablo Holloway hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Rolando Sylvester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sora AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Sylvester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Shields breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anton Greene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Greene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, C.J. French managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sora AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but C.J. Francisco Murdock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Shields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from C.J. French, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Terrence Key hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for C.J. French to strike the kick off in the second half. If Raul Meyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Sylvester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Raul Meyer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sora AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 70th minute Pablo Holloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game C.J. French who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steger AFC's Gerardo Shields was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sora AFC's Rolando Sylvester got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If C.J. French had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling C.J. French in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Shields prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Meyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Shields having to interfere. In the 85th minute, C.J. French left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sora AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. French blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Shields having to make a save. Gerardo Shields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Meyer in the 95th minute of the match. Randy Chacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Shields having to interfere. Sora AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
