Brent Cherry took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Bradley. Miguel Bradley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Frank Bradshaw notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tesla TEC's James Bergstrom. James Bergstrom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Tesla TEC's Brent Cherry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Bradley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sylvester Purvis took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Bradley. Miguel Bradley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 30 minutes into the game, Brock McConnell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millvale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tesla TEC the free kick. After 30 played minutes Millvale got a freekick which was hit by Brock McConnell. When Cristobal Carmichael came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Tesla TEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Carmichael couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sylvester Purvis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tesla TEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylvester Purvis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Bradley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Tesla TEC's Sylvester Purvis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Bradley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristobal Carmichael struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Miguel Bradley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tesla TEC. Tesla TEC's Sylvester Purvis got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. James Bergstrom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Deleon in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Tesla TEC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Christian Overå. 43 minutes into the match, Tesla TEC's goal looked a bit too open when DeAndre Fleming came free, but James Bergstrom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Bradshaw stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Christian Overå charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Christian Overå the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tesla TEC's Nils-Christian Overå got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Brent Cherry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brent Cherry took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Bradley. Miguel Bradley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Miguel Bradley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Carmichael in the 64th minute of play. During the 66th minute of the match Brock McConnell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Brock McConnell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Millvale getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Brock McConnell hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Cristobal Carmichael sped through Millvale's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Bradley. In the 77th minute Franklin Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Bradley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Bradshaw hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Sylvester Purvis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Bradley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Carmichael's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Carmichael in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Bradley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Carmichael in the 88th minute of play forced Millvale's goalkeeper Miguel Bradley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Carmichael in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Bradley saved Millvale from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Cristobal Carmichael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Bradley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
