In the 35th match minute, FCM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Small to maneuver through the defense. Mitchell Burgess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Ford in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Ford made a kick off. After a rather tough play, San francisco's Tomas Libby got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, San francisco's Mitchell Burgess got control of the ball when Jerrod Maher tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes in the game, George Ford fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mitchell Burgess having to interfere. San francisco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Schroeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FCM FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
