The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Malone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Mohnton's Jeff Blackburn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Mesen. That made the score 4-2 after 53 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Chad Cain took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Johnny Mesen to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Daniel Engel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anchorage Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. In the 72nd minute of the match Del Corley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyrone Kenny skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Jacob Orozco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tyrone Kenny was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tyrone Kenny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Orozco, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Anchorage Athletic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
