Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phillip Egan in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neil Cortes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Teodoro Benjamin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haleiwa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Alliance Fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Haleiwa's Teodoro Benjamin got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 34 played minutes Haleiwa got a freekick which was hit by Tory Fowler. After recieving a nice pass, The Alliance Fc's Henry Christie tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Neil Cortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Egan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Geraldo Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Alliance Fc getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bo Copeland hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phillip Egan was the one to do the kick off.
