After having played for 3 minutes, Mel Bolden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mel Bolden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neil Cortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Warren in the 4th minute of play. When ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★'s Mel Bolden in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haleiwa's goalie prevented a goal. Neil Cortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mel Bolden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Renato Eddy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★'s Waldo Hyde got a free kick in the 13th minute. Aaron Warren took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neil Cortes. Neil Cortes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Haleiwa's goalkeeper Neil Cortes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Teodoro Benjamin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alec Dillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randell Piper during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Randell Piper kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Neil Cortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Warren in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randell Piper in the 37th minute of play forced Haleiwa's goalkeeper Neil Cortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tory Fowler hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mel Bolden in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neil Cortes saved Haleiwa from getting behind. Neil Cortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Warren, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Mel Bolden came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mel Bolden couldn't finish the play. After the first half ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aaron Warren made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alec Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haleiwa's supporters rose to their feet, but Alec Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Eddy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Alec Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haleiwa's Neil Cortes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Haleiwa from getting a goal against them. If Randell Piper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Geraldo Perkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haleiwa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tory Fowler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Eddy having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Haleiwa got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Benjamin. Renato Eddy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alec Dillon in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Haleiwa's Tory Fowler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renato Eddy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Neil Cortes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Geraldo Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ★ηΣw JΣяSΣY DΣv1Ls Tm★'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
