If Boyd Nicholson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Flint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Arias in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Leon Duvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aztecs Premire's Damon Flint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxwell Arias in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Aztecs Premire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Duvall to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Minuteman FC's Garrett Lutz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damon Flint came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minuteman FC reached it. Merrill Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boyd Nicholson's late challenge caught a Minuteman FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyd Nicholson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Aztecs Premire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Felix to maneuver through the defense. Merrill Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Flint having to interfere. Damon Flint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Arias in the 43rd minute of the match. If Leon Duvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merrill Arias was the one to do the kick off. Boyd Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damon Flint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merrill Arias in the 56th minute of play. Minuteman FC's Gary Madden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Gregg in the 59th minute of play. Merrill Arias struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Damon Flint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minuteman FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Sellers during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Aztecs Premire:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Minuteman FC's Garrett Lutz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Damon Flint. Maxwell Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Ahmed Gregg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Madden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merrill Arias succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. If Ahmed Gregg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aztecs Premire booed when Minuteman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garrett Lutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Minuteman FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minuteman FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
