To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garth Hale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Brendon Duran made a huge save. After having played for 74 minutes, Garth Hale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Of The Pines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garth Hale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brendon Duran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Hale, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Lake Of The Pines's Garth Hale got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enrique Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kris Hays kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Garth Hale might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brendon Duran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Hale ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Enrique Clayton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendon Duran was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
