Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) Darnell Cannon made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Long Beach Sharks FC's Archie Vance fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 4th minute Hank Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Hank Cavazos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Beach Sharks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hank Cavazos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Archie Vance had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hank Cavazos in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stan Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Archie Vance recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Darnell Cannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mel Payne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Long Beach Sharks FC's Kip Whitt got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Hank Cavazos made a precise shot to the right of Stan Ferreira. Wixom FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Archie Vance's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stan Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Long Beach Sharks FC's Archie Vance got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kip Whitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hank Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-3 became the score in the 45th minute when Hank Cavazos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Long Beach Sharks FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hank Cavazos to make the kick off. Archie Vance could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Stan Ferreira made a huge save. Archie Vance recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Wixom FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Barry Bland hit a great ball. Nigel Li hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Hank Cavazos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Stan Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hank Cavazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Archie Vance recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stan Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hank Cavazos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hank Cavazos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Stan Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colby Hays hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Long Beach Sharks FC's Hank Cavazos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stan Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hank Cavazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Ferreira having to interfere. If Hank Cavazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stan Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archie Vance in the 95th minute.
