The coaching staff of Man United F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Javier Moody had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Man United F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jim Thorpe United:s goal. Garrett Curtis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. In the 74th minute, Heriberto Tapia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Man United F.C's Heriberto Tapia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Winford Chandler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Darius Hills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
