Cory Dudley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Myers in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Jim Thorpe United's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Randolph came free, but Winford Chandler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Myers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cory Dudley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cory Dudley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeffrey Myers's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Adrian Dickson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Dudley having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Adrian Dickson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Foster Ledbetter during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Wellston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Foster Ledbetter. In the 37th minute of the match Michael Fairchild sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cory Dudley skillfully saved the ball. Wellston AFC's Cory Dudley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Moyer in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Wellston AFC's Whitney Kendrick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Dickson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Adrian Dickson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Thorpe United's Trent Moyer suffered a sore knee after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 57th minute of the match Foster Ledbetter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Foster Ledbetter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th match minute, Wellston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Foster Ledbetter to maneuver through the defense. If Whitney Kendrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellston AFC's Whitney Kendrick got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ross Randolph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winford Chandler having to interfere. Jim Thorpe United's Jeffrey Myers got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Winford Chandler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Whitney Kendrick went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Winford Chandler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Whitney Kendrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Jim Thorpe United got a freekick which was hit by Monty Robertson. Scotty Sheppard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Winford Chandler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Gabriel Mallory mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wellston AFC and the Jim Thorpe United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Mallory hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jim Thorpe United's Michael Fairchild couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wellston AFC. Wellston AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
