Randy Chacon started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Avluca city booed when Orland AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basil Painter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Ayers in the 10th minute of play. Basil Painter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Rodriquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Orland AFC booed when Avluca city was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denver Titus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Orland AFC's Aaron Levine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basil Painter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orland AFC reached it. John Rodriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Basil Painter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Ayers might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basil Painter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Ayers ran back to his position shaking his head. Avluca city's Clay Solomon got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Lucero hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44thth minute of the game John Rodriquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avluca city's Basil Painter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basil Painter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Rodriquez in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Thomas Ayers made the kick off in the second half. Basil Painter made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Rodriquez in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Avluca city getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Clay Solomon hit a great ball. After 57 minutes, Stevie Minton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orland AFC and the Avluca city players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Avluca city booed when Orland AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevie Minton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuck Ward kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Avluca city's Basil Painter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Avluca city from getting a goal against them. Avluca city's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Thomas Ayers scored to the left of an out of position Basil Painter, making the score, 0-1. Chuck Ward hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randy Chacon in the 72nd minute of play forced Orland AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Nash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clay Solomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orland AFC's Wilfredo Nash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randy Chacon in the 79th minute of play. Reinaldo Lucero charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Lucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Reinaldo Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Orland AFC's Aaron Levine tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thomas Ayers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basil Painter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Randy Chacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clay Solomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wilfredo Nash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Thomas Ayers came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Orland AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Ayers couldn't finish the play. The Orland AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orland AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
