The tension between the Houston FC and the Ahamdullilah players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Koenig kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Freddie McNamara came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Houston FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddie McNamara couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Laurence Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houston FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mervin Moss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahamdullilah's Mervin Moss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ahamdullilah from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Neal got free with Mervin Moss in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mervin Moss was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Nicky Neal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicky Neal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guy Young stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie McNamara in the 62nd minute of play forced Ahamdullilah's goalkeeper Mervin Moss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Houston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Young came free, but Zane Dickens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zane Dickens made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rudolf Sutherland sent off a good shot on target. Houston FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
