Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 122) Glen Carbon's Silas Coyle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waldo Aviles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Cantrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Glen Carbon got a freekick which was hit by Terrence Elliot. Glen Carbon's Waldo Aviles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hal Gant in the 6th minute of play. Miami Rams's Avery Zavala got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Glen Carbon's goal looked a bit too open when Avery Zavala came free, but Waldo Aviles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avery Zavala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldo Aviles having to interfere. Casper Hogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Stover having to interfere. After some careless play in the Miami Rams defense, Casper Hogan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rupert Stover. The Miami Rams fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rupert Stover should have stopped the shot. If Avery Zavala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Hal Gant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldo Aviles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Avery Zavala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45thth minute of the game Avery Zavala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glen Carbon's Waldo Aviles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avery Zavala to make the kick off. Glen Carbon's Waldo Aviles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avery Zavala in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Casper Hogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glen Carbon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Hogan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silas Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Albert Cantrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Filiberto Sams sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Miami Rams's Rupert Stover didn't even have to move. After 68 minutes, Albert Cantrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miami Rams and the Glen Carbon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Albert Cantrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Avery Zavala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miami Rams's supporters rose to their feet, but Avery Zavala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldo Aviles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avery Zavala struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Waldo Aviles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miami Rams. Glen Carbon's Waldo Aviles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Glen Carbon from getting a goal against them. After having played for 95 minutes, Avery Zavala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miami Rams's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avery Zavala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Glen Carbon had won after a very even match.
