In the 40th minute Louie Tuttle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Castillo De Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes, Ferdinand McDaniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid FC and the Manning FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Louie Tuttle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Castillo De Reyes having to interfere. Renaldo Lowry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickie Friend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Manning FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickie Friend came free, but Renaldo Lowry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Giuseppe Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louie Tuttle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paul Castillo De Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Manning FC's zone, Dale Barr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Lowry came out of the goal and Dale Barr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Waldo Bush had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Madrid FC's Waldo Bush got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
