Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Donny Stiles made the kick off and thus started the match. Sergio Aguirre came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Nice's Donny Stiles. But to his dismay, Donny Stiles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sergio Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leland Puckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Blair Day had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Chuck Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. WolfPack's Sergio Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donny Stiles in the 24th minute of play. Leland Puckett struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sergio Aguirre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nice. Sergio Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Stiles in the 27th minute of the match. Nice's Donny Stiles got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in WolfPack's zone, Donny Stiles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Aguirre came out of the goal and Donny Stiles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leland Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind WolfPack's goalkeeper Sergio Aguirre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, WolfPack's Domenico Gilmore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Al Blackwell narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hunter Greenwood made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Donny Stiles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Stiles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Gilmore during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domenico Gilmore kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sergio Aguirre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leland Puckett in the 55th minute. Blair Day's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Aguirre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Donny Stiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to WolfPack getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Brent Nunez hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Leland Puckett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Aguirre. WolfPack's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leland Puckett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 65th minute Donny Stiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Leland Puckett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sergio Aguirre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Donny Stiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes WolfPack got a freekick which was hit by Chuck Little. Sergio Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Stiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nice's Donny Stiles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergio Aguirre. That made the score 1-4 after 92 minutes of play. WolfPack's Sergio Aguirre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save WolfPack from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute Blair Day shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nice played a much better game than WolfPack and deserved their victory. The WolfPack players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
