A collision led to Sedona AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Roland Short hit a great ball. If Donnie Bauman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clay Fisher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacy Parra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vern Hinds kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tristan Pagan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clay Fisher. High Ridge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Virgil Bearden hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Donnie Bauman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Myles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaiah Brady to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, High Ridge's Emanuel Graves got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute, Isaiah Brady ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Glenn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 68th minute Stacy Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clay Fisher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufus Healy hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, High Ridge's Clay Fisher got control of the ball when Ignacio Myles tried to sneak it across the goal line. High Ridge's Clay Fisher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save High Ridge from getting a goal against them. If Donnie Bauman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
