Spectators: 7741 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavio Orozco started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Octavio Orozco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Winston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Borden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ken Winston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Binghamton AFC's Octavio Orozco got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Octavio Orozco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CYCLONES FC's Ken Winston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nathaniel Swenson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, CYCLONES FC's Angelo Mathews nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tod Lockwood made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Orozco in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ken Winston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Warren Borden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Warren Borden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Binghamton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Warren Borden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Binghamton AFC's zone, Angelo Mathews stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tod Lockwood came out of the goal and Angelo Mathews tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milan Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tod Lockwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tod Lockwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Mathews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milan Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Lockwood having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Octavio Orozco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ken Winston was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milan Guzman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Garrett Delaney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ken Winston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Binghamton AFC's goalkeeper Tod Lockwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Mathews. After 58 played minutes Milan Guzman could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. Angelo Mathews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tod Lockwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Nathaniel Swenson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CYCLONES FC and the Binghamton AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Binghamton AFC booed when CYCLONES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Swenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, CYCLONES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Borden came free, but Ken Winston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Angelo Mathews left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CYCLONES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Binghamton AFC's Tod Lockwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milan Guzman in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Binghamton AFC's Tod Lockwood got control of the ball when Angelo Mathews tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Mathews received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tod Lockwood came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelo Mathews slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 92nd minute.
