Romeo Merchant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Merchant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Glenn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Sedona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Bearden to maneuver through the defense. Rueben Farrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacy Parra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Myles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rueben Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bill Dunbar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Short in the 26th minute of play forced TEXASFC's goalkeeper Rueben Farrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TEXASFC's Rueben Farrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacy Parra in the 37th minute of play. If Ignacio Myles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sedona AFC's Ignacio Myles got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Merchant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Glenn having to interfere. After the first half TEXASFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Stacy Parra made the kick off in the second half. Bill Dunbar took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Glenn. Juan Glenn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Sedona AFC booed when TEXASFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Barber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Tristan Pagan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rueben Farrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. TEXASFC's Rueben Farrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Myles in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Stacy Parra notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of TEXASFC's Rueben Farrell. Rueben Farrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bill Dunbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Sedona AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Dunbar came free, but Juan Glenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TEXASFC's Rueben Farrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacy Parra in the 80th minute of play. Logan Otero kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The Sedona AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TEXASFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
