Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tracy Diaz got the match started through his kick off. Tanner Arden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Jarrell in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korey Peralta in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanner Arden saved Van Horn from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Squires in the 7th minute of play forced Van Horn's goalkeeper Tanner Arden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Mohammed Squires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bella Vista AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Van Horn's Arnoldo Rubin got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Korey Peralta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Van Horn's Tanner Arden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stevie Horner hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Mohammed Squires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Korey Peralta sped through Van Horn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tanner Arden. Korey Peralta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanner Arden having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Van Horn's goal looked a bit too open when Korey Peralta came free, but Tanner Arden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohammed Squires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tanner Arden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Mohammed Squires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tanner Arden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Johnny Jarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Bella Vista AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tracy Diaz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eliseo Billings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Bella Vista AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korey Peralta made a kick off. Mohammed Squires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanner Arden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korey Peralta in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Van Horn defense, Korey Peralta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanner Arden. The Van Horn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanner Arden should have stopped the shot. After 64 minutes, Neal Lovett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bella Vista AFC and the Van Horn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohammed Squires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Tanner Arden made a huge save. Stevie Horner's late challenge caught a Bella Vista AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Horner helped the player get up and apologised. 70 minutes into the match, Bella Vista AFC's Jed Bouchard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tanner Arden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohammed Squires in the 79th minute. Kristofer Kenney kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Van Horn's zone, Mohammed Squires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanner Arden came out of the goal and Mohammed Squires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Korey Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanner Arden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammed Squires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tanner Arden made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bella Vista AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
