An unexpectedly hard shot by Reuben Pate in the 7th minute of play forced Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Darell Ernst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darell Ernst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Guzman in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Reuben Pate notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bella Vista AFC's Darell Ernst. Darell Ernst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CYCLONES FC's Milan Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darell Ernst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Milan Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darell Ernst. Bella Vista AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milan Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darell Ernst showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CYCLONES FC's Nathaniel Swenson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Nathaniel Swenson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Milan Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Darell Ernst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korey Peralta was the one to do the kick off. In the 70th minute, Milan Guzman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Darell Ernst, passed just outside the right post.
