Danny Seals recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chalco's Graham Bullock got control of the ball when Danny Seals tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graham Bullock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Hollingsworth in the 23rd minute of play. Ari Brandon struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Whitney Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalco. Cliff Robertson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Whitney Rodrigues having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenico Murray during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chalco getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Domenico Murray hit a great ball. If Danny Seals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Ari Brandon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Lions Soccer Acad's Whitney Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ari Brandon was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Donnie Hilliard in the 61st minute really tested Whitney Rodrigues's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 62 played minutes White Lions Soccer Acad got a freekick which was hit by Loren Tharp. With a little luck, White Lions Soccer Acad's Whitney Rodrigues got control of the ball when Cliff Robertson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, White Lions Soccer Acad's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Brandon came free, but Whitney Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match, Cliff Robertson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Whitney Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
