Diego Rector came out of the goal and Anson Regan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Jefferson's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Llobregat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Jefferson helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Jefferson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Chad Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Braswell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Al Cordova's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A collision led to Sporting Club Llobregat getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zack Elkins hit a great ball. Tyrone Swift took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Rector. Diego Rector dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Boulder City AFC's Ace Gould suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Llobregat's Allan Belanger got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Sporting Club Llobregat's Mohammad Braswell got control of the ball when Moises Cotton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Rector took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anson Regan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chad Costa was the one to do the kick off. Boulder City AFC's Gilberto Jefferson got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Gilberto Jefferson off the ground. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chad Costa in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Rector prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chad Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anson Regan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Rector having to interfere. Diego Rector stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chad Costa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Boulder City AFC's Diego Rector got control of the ball when Anson Regan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Rector made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anson Regan in the 83rd minute. Sporting Club Llobregat's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
