Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jerrod Crabtree made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Bob Tinsley made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Kline. RiverCity Gamblers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. RiverCity Gamblers's Ismael Kline played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrod Crabtree in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, RiverCity Gamblers's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrod Crabtree came free, but Ismael Kline reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerrod Crabtree might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Kline. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerrod Crabtree ran back to his position shaking his head. Bob Tinsley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ismael Kline tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If DeAndre Brantley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Kline made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Tinsley in the 18th minute of play. Retamoso FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after RiverCity Gamblers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Parker Ivy took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Parker Ivy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Kline quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ismael Kline took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from DeAndre Brantley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind RiverCity Gamblers's goalkeeper Ismael Kline, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zachery Ayers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradly Root in the 27th minute of play. DeAndre Brantley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Kline having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Bradly Root left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RiverCity Gamblers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jerrod Crabtree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ismael Kline tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zachariah Rosales was the one to do the kick off. Zachery Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariah Rosales in the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathon Cardwell during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RiverCity Gamblers booed when Retamoso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathon Cardwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Kline showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from DeAndre Brantley, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Angelo Dunbar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachery Ayers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jerrod Crabtree could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ismael Kline made a huge save. Eric Vernon charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Vernon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eric Vernon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Retamoso FC's Lance Shepard was substituted for Reyes Dougherty. In the 74th minute, Eric Vernon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jerrod Crabtree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachery Ayers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradly Root in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Zachariah Rosales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachery Ayers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachery Ayers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariah Rosales in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, RiverCity Gamblers's Ismael Kline got control of the ball when Bob Tinsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match Angelo Dunbar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachery Ayers skillfully saved the ball. Retamoso FC's DeAndre Brantley got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Retamoso FC booed when RiverCity Gamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Buckley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerrod Crabtree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Retamoso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
