The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurice Engel got free with Ismael Freeman in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vito Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Randell Barger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Homer Johnston in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Raton FC's Jessie Doss. If Neal Bowling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neal Bowling struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Randell Barger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Raton FC. Ismael Freeman made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Homer Johnston sent off a good shot on target. Homer Johnston took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Freeman. Ismael Freeman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Oswaldo Chandler kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Johnston in the 28th minute of play forced Boca Raton FC's goalkeeper Ismael Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jessie Doss fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Raton FC's protests and gave Jessie Doss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Boca Raton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessie Doss to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Maurice Engel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JiNan QuanYun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Engel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Homer Johnston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JiNan QuanYun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 41st minute Alvin Dwyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Freeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Raton FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Alvin Dwyer scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Freeman, making the score, 3-0. Homer Johnston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ismael Freeman made a huge save. Ismael Freeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Dwyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvin Dwyer to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Homer Johnston threw the ball into play from the sideline. Boca Raton FC's Jessie Doss quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Neal Bowling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Randell Barger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randell Barger didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Jessie Doss was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Raton FC's Jessie Doss got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ismael Freeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Johnston in the 66th minute of play. Boca Raton FC's attentive Vito Arnold managed to snatch the ball when Homer Johnston made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Homer Johnston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Boca Raton FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vito Arnold hit a great ball. If Alvin Dwyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boca Raton FC's attentive Vito Arnold managed to snatch the ball when Homer Johnston made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. After 81 played minutes Boca Raton FC got a freekick which was hit by Neal Bowling. Homer Johnston kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ismael Freeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Dwyer in the 92nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Maurice Engel in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boca Raton FC's Oswaldo Chandler. 95 minutes into the match, Boca Raton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Engel came free, but Ismael Freeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Neal Bowling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Raton FC and the JiNan QuanYun players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of JiNan QuanYun booed when Boca Raton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Bowling didn't get a good kick on the ball.
