Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elijah Spivey started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Sung Conrad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elijah Spivey might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korey Conley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elijah Spivey ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elijah Spivey came free, but Korey Conley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Sung Conrad put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Henley. With a little luck, Lions FC's Korey Conley got control of the ball when Curt Bergstrom tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pingyu FC booed when Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porter Shipp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lions FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Curt Bergstrom scored to the left of an out of position Korey Conley, making the score, 1-2. Sung Conrad charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sung Conrad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lions FC's Sung Conrad got a free kick in the 28th minute. Korey Conley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winford Messer in the 30th minute of play. Emery Kearns scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Henley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robin Henley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emery Kearns went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Pingyu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lions FC were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sung Conrad to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Pingyu FC's Ben Stoddard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ben Stoddard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pingyu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ben Stoddard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 52nd minute, one of Pingyu FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pingyu FC. In the 54th minute, the referee gave Lions FC a penalty. Sung Conrad looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Robin Henley. 57 minutes into the match, Pingyu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan York came free, but Robin Henley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pingyu FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Darnell Bowling hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Sung Conrad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Sung Conrad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robin Henley. The goal made the score 1-6. Jack Kincaid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Curt Bergstrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Korey Conley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sung Conrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Henley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sung Conrad in the 76th minute. Robin Henley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emery Kearns, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sung Conrad in the 82nd minute of play forced Pingyu FC's goalkeeper Robin Henley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pingyu FC's Robin Henley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sung Conrad in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Curt Bergstrom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pingyu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curt Bergstrom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Deshawn Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korey Conley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Bergstrom, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Pingyu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sung Conrad came free, but Robin Henley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lions FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
