In the 21st minute Sebastian Montoya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, FC FORTUNA's goalkeeper Sidney Orozco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lenny Cortez. 28 minutes into the match, FC FORTUNA's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Cortez came free, but Sidney Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Orozco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenny Cortez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, Itta Bena's Lenny Cortez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. With a little luck, FC FORTUNA's Sidney Orozco got control of the ball when Simon Vaughn tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolland Lindsey to make the kick off. Sidney Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Vaughn in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Itta Bena got a freekick which was hit by Cordarryl Rancel. Eric Shirley charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Shirley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eric Shirley hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Brett Graham kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to FC FORTUNA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Brice Purcell hit a great ball. FC FORTUNA's Sidney Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Cortez in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Itta Bena's Sebastian Montoya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Orozco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 73rd match minute, FC FORTUNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolland Lindsey to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Cortez in the 78th minute of play. Sidney Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Montoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Sebastian Montoya came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Itta Bena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Montoya couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Sebastian Montoya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney Orozco. FC FORTUNA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Montoya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. The supporters of Itta Bena booed when FC FORTUNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Purcell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes, Itta Bena's Loren Chacon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sidney Orozco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itta Bena reached it. In the 87th minute, Sergey Bishkevich made a precise shot to the right of Sidney Orozco. FC FORTUNA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 90th minute Lenny Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, FC FORTUNA's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Cortez came free, but Sidney Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Orozco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lenny Cortez went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Itta Bena were the better team. Itta Bena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
